I often say that finding The Children's Center of Lake Forest was the best thing that happened to us in 2020, a year that was otherwise challenging for everyone! From the first time I met Marisol on the phone I was welcomed with warmth and care. That feeling translated into the space when I visited and had a chance to meet the teachers. I saw firsthand the love and attention they put into each part of the classroom experience, and I knew right away that it was a happy place. For the last year and a half, The Children's Center has become a second home to our children, and we consider the teachers, directors, and staff to be part of our extended family. The love they have for all the children is noticeable and the time and work they put into each lesson, activity, holiday, spirit week and more is above and beyond what we would have ever imagined! We are so incredibly thankful for this community of caring and kind people. Our children are learning to be compassionate, to listen, to communicate their thoughts and feelings, and with all the lesson plans and educational activities we know that they will be well prepared for kindergarten! The Children's Center of Lake Forest is a very special place, one that we feel very lucky to be part of.
